Preaching Trip in Glamang Camalian, Davao del Sur - Resulted in 21 Baptism.

I and dad (Siamen Tumandan) with one gospel preacher Coen Manteng with my uncle Enrico Guilon and one cousin Kenneth Tumandan left our homes exactly 1:30 O'clock in the afternoon of April 27, 2011 and reached the Barangay Camalian, Davao del Sur almost 7:00 PM.

From the coastal area going to Sitio Glamang, Camalian where we held the venue was at the top of the mountain which is more than 15 kilometers away, we reached it almost 9:00 PM by way of walking.

Because of thirst, the group of young men who met us on the way gave us coconut to drink in it.

Brother Enrico Guilon (my uncle) was our Song Leader while Brother Coen Manteng also preached a good sermon.

Morning of April 30, 2011 there were 21 folks gladly commited themselves to be baptized. I and dad did the immersion while the other saints gladly sang three song from the Hymnal in Cebauno Version such as "Oh, Happy Day", "All To Jesus I Surrender" and "Are You Washed in The Blood?".

I am so thankful to God that inspite of diffuctlities on the road, we still abled to reached and make this Gospel Meetings. So grateful to God that through the help of two Brothers and one sister in Christ, I and dad made able to preach in this far distance which is more than 80 miles. I was able to owe 3,000 pesos because I was short of fund. My motorcycle consume more than 1,000 pesos of gasoline and also dad's motorcycle.

In Christian Love,
Mike

Note: In my other report I put that 20 were baptized, but I was in mistake...not 20 but 21 were baptized in this Gospel Meeting. Eight folks I did administer in baptism while 13 folks administered by dad.

Two Were Being Baptized.

Dad and I and my younger brother Harley with two cousin Kenneth and Leymar were returned from a celebration of birthday of Brother Rommel's daughter around 4:00 PM yesterday May 28, 2011. It was held there in the beach. What made me so glad was that....there were two folks who were baptized when they asked me to make a Bible Study to them. Glory to God. There was enough water, they truly believed in what we preached about Christ and His Kingdom, so what hinder them to be baptized?

So I did administer in baptism. I baptized them in the extension where the water of the swimming pool of Maharlika Beach Resort here in GenSan flows.

1. Brother Rommel did the prayer first.

2. Then I preached a short sermon about the importance of Baptism and staying faithful unto God.

Truly, salvation is very important. For in 2 Cor. 6:2 "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)"

The two now are joining the saints in worshiping where Brother Rommel is preaching every Sunday.

Preachers Bible Seminar - Jim Mcdonald Lecturer

I, dad, my younger Brother Harley, two cousins Kenneth and Leymar Tumandan went to Royale Hotel with Brother Rommel Dazon and Brother Danny Caliz to meet Brother Jim Mcdonald there around 10:00 O'clock in the evening of May 25, 2011. No one tell us that Brother Jim was there in the hotel except we tried our best to see if he was there, and glad he was. We met him (my first time to see him and shake hands with although we have communications through e-mail).

When morning cames, May 26, was the Bible Lecture by him. He started lecturing around 9:00 O'clock in the morning. Two lessons he lectured, about the "The Wrong of Believing One Eternal Covenant" and "The One Cup (Why we believe that multiple cups is scriptural?" ....

While in the afternoon, he lectured about the "A.D 70 Doctrine".

Grandpa Jim (the way I called him) is a sound and kind missionary preacher, he never leaves a doubt in what he preached. His mind is like a Bible Concordance that when you asked Bible Questions he could easily and immediately answered with care and candor.
