Five Souls Were Baptized During Lord's Day In Datal Lira church of Christ

Five Souls Were Baptized During Lord's Day In Datal Lira church of Christ

Dear Brethren and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

"I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2)

Grace, Mercy, and Peace be with you

From God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

By the loving providence of God Salvation has been made possible in Christ Jesus.

Assuredly, there is joy in heaven over souls who repent of their sins and now surrendered their lives to God.

Thanks be to God for five precious souls who were immersed in water on May 9, 2021.

One of them was a certain Maheng Balunto who is about 60 years old. He is the land owner of the area where the church building is located, he donated it. The church building was already built and saints have gather every Lord's Day even he was not yet a member of the Lord's church.

Now it is a great joy that he has already submitted himself in Jesus thru obedience in water baptism.

Those who were baptized are now members of the Lord's church and locally members of Datal Lira church of Christ, Kablacan, Maasim, Sarangani Province.

Present also during the event were Brod Jeremiah Bantilan, the local preacher; Brod Manolang Diamalo.

May God continue to bless you and all the saints there.

TWO SOULS WERE BAPTIZED.

There is nothing more precious than the Salvation of our souls from forgiveness of our sins that results to peace of mind through the gospel of Christ. Hence, it is indeed joyful to know that last March 28, 2021 our Brethren Preachers Gorio Pelon and Ronie Isla both preachers of Pepe Ranch church of Christ, Kamanga, Maasim, Sarangani Province had done a tremendous job in administering the baptism of two souls in such way they were added by the Lord in His church. FULL DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD ASSISTANCE FROM $500.00

9th Day of March, Year of our Lord 2021

Dear Brother Ron Halbrook,

"I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2)

Grace, Mercy, and Peace be with you

From God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

I thank God for His wonderful love always; making mention of your name in my prayers as I thank Him for your untiring love to us here in the Philippines.

Brother Jonathan Carino relayed to me the $500.00 for Food Assistance through the Bank Account of Brod Salvador “Badong” Parbo. I thank these two brothers for their mutual love in relaying the funds.

I thank the US saints who have sacrificially sent the funds in which the Food Assistance to Needy Saints in Four Local churches of Christ in Maasim where made possible.

Last Friday March 5, 2021 I had the opportunity to lecture “Authority in Religion” in Kyumad church of Christ through the invitation of Brod Allan Moyak, the local preacher. It was a Youth Bible Class, attended by almost a hundred young people from different local churches of Christ.

Then Saturday, March 6, 2021 I joined with Brod Rommel Dazon, Ceasar Monto, Eduard Diamana, Jeremiah Bantilan, couple Manolang and Lotlot Diamalo in a Gospel Meeting in Datal Lira church of Christ, Kablacan, Maasim, Sarangani Province.

One soul was baptized; Brod Diamana did the immersion.

In the same day, we distributed 2 sacks of rice or 100 kilos in the local church as food assistance from the $500.00 steward to me.

After the distribution, we went back home. It is very sad that on our way, as drove my motorcycle then my backride was Brod Monto, I lost control of my motorcycle, the brakes no longer functioning which resulted to our accident. We both sustained injuries and until now there is pain. We thank God for He spare our lives. We are also grateful to the Maasim Rescue Team for quick respond.

Then Lord’s Day, as I had gained enough strength to do the Lord’s work, Brod Lucciano Sangoan accompanied me in distribution of food assistance.

Around 8:00 PM, March 7, 2021 two sacks of rice were distributed in Quary church of Christ, Amsipit, Maasim, Sarangani Province.

The members were so happy as they received food assistance also grateful in knowing that I am alive, by God’s loving providence after a terrible motorcycle accident. I had preached “My Brethren Strengthen Me” your sermon outline dear Brod Ron Halbrook.

Monday, March 8, 2021 one sack of rice was distributed in Libas church of Christ and also two sacks of rice on the same day in Tahakayo church of Christ, Amsipit, Maasim, Sarangani Province. The same lesson was preached in two congregations concerning “Labor of Love”. I emphasized that food is material yet it is given in the name of God, it is a labor of love of the US saints and also us who are stewards of the blessings.

I thank God for His love Brother Ron Halbrook. Thank you so much for the Food Assistance. Brethren and sisters are thankful as they received the food assistance.

May God continue to bless you, your family and the saints there.
