In obedience to the authority of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, a Gospel Meeting was conducted in Magaselal church of Christ, Poblacion, Malapatan, Sarangani Province today, October 28, 2022.
Men Mark Tumandan (preacher of Libas church of Christ) first preached a lesson of Brod Ron Halbrook "The Message of the Bible : Salvation in Jesus Christ". Salvation belongs to Jesus Christ, He has all the authority in regard to the salvation of our souls hence He has all the authority what should a man do to be saved.
Rudy Falate (preacher of Tampat church of Christ) then preached a lesson "The Church of Christ" emphasizing the significane of the church and baptism for the salvation of our souls.
Ronnie Isla (preacher of Pepe Ranch church of Christ) preached a lesson about "Seeking First The Kingdom of God", that the things in this world are nothing but only the salvation in Christ is important.
After the lessons, we went to the near beach in Poblacion to baptize six (6 souls) who submitted themselves to Christ.
Siamen D. Tumandan (preacher of Balunto church of Christ) give an exhortation to the souls to be baptized. One of the candidates for baptism, in her 70's said "Oh, you were the first pastor we had before in Alliance church". Brod Siamen then replied "You were baptized before by the authority of denomination church but now by the authority of Jesus Christ".
