GOSPEL WORK : MAASIM AND MALAPATAN, SARANGANI PROVINCE

As upon the first day of the week, members of churches of Christ gather together in every local church to worship God in spirit and in truth. Christians sing hymns in glorifying God, eat the bread and drink the cup as symbol of body and blood of Jesus Christ.

 

Christians also give their financial contribution as God prosper. Prayer is also part of worship and also teaching what is written in the Holy Scriptures.

On Lord’s Day, March 19 in Libas church of Christ, our lesson was about your sermon outline "Thy Kingdom Come". Jesus taught the disciples to pray for the kingdom to come. Now, the kingdom has come. Jesus never failed when he said the kingdom is at hand. The kingdom, the church is now here on this earth. (Acts 2:42; Col. 3:17; 1 Cor. 11:23-27; 1 Cor. 16:1-2)

 

On the same date, Brod Luciano Sangoan shared to me that after their worship, one soul was baptized in Poblacion, Malapatan. (Men Mark A. Tumandan, Philippines)

GOSPEL MEETING: TUYAN CHURCH OF CHRIST

 

18^th  Day of March, Year of our Lord 2023

Dear Brethren and Sisters in Jesus Christ,

"I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper

The Great Commission of Jesus commanded us to go to the world and preach the gospel, making disciples of all the nations by baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

 

In obedience to His command, a Gospel Meeting was held in Tuyan church of Christ, Malapatan, Sarangani Province today, March 18, 2023.

The attendance was composed of members of Tuyan church of Christ then pastors as visitors from denominational churches and also preachers of church of Christ. Then Arlan Palawan member of Magaselal church of Christ joined in the afternoon session of the Gospel Meeting.

 

Siamen D. Tumandan first preached a lesson about "Thinking It Is Good" then followed by Luciano Sangoan about "Bible Authority"

The third topic was lectured by Men Mark Tumandan "The Message of the Bible:Salvation in Christ Jesus", using the outline of Brod Ron Halbrook.

 

Allan Moyak then lecture a topic "The Way To Salvation" which was followed by last lecturer Jolly Julom concerning "Christians Must Walk In The Doctrine, Preaching, Worshipping and Heirs of Christ".

 

Those who attended the gospel meeting had showed their great interest by asking questions for clarifications.

An Open Door For the Gospel of Christ

On March 12, 2023 preachers from Municipality of Maasim and City of General Santos gathered together to take heed the opportunity of newly opened work in Barangay Kayupo, Kiamba, Sarangani Province.

 

Around 7:30 PM in the evening, Cesar Monto first preached a lesson then followed by Allan Moyak concerning "The Truth Shall Set Us Free", emphasizing the truth concerning the Old Testament and the New Testament.

 

Eduardo Diamana Sr. followed his lesson concerning "The New Testament Church" and then Mario Sastrillas preached a good lesson, emphasizing to live faithfully in God.

Men Mark Tumandan then preached about "I Thought That I Was Saved", concerning the need to be sure of salvation.

 

Eduardo Diamana Jr. and Jolito Dela Corta are the song leaders, alternately.

Today, early morning, March 13, three souls submit in Christ water baptism.

We are so grateful also to Brod Junjie Yamashita who facilitated in conducting this activity.

GOSPEL WORK REPORT : MALUNGON MUNICIPALITY AND MALAPATAN MUNICIPALITY OF SARANGANI PROVINCE

Dear Brethren and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

On March 4, 2023 in obedience to the command of Jesus to preach the gospel, a Gospel Meeting was held in church of Christ located in Purok Cebuano, Poblacion, Malungon, Sarangani Province.

I first preached a lesson about "I Thought That I Was Saved" then followed by Brod Socarno Cabca about "The Glorious Church".

Thank you so much to the local preacher Ernesto Tol and the members for the invitation. Thank you to Brod Socarno Cabca.

 

Salvation Belongs To The Lord. Thanks to God for the eleven (11) souls who gladly accepted the word of God during the said Gospel Meeting.

 

Prior to baptism, they first confessed that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God.

Brod Ernesto Tol and I did the immersion.

 

Thankful to Brother Socarno Cabca for facilitating in conducting this Gospel Meeting with Brod Ernesto Tol for the salvations of souls.

 

On the same date, in other Municipality of Malapatan, Gospel Meeting was also held in Magaselal church of Christ and the details are shared to me by Brod Luciano Sangoan.

Followed by a lecture of Brod Allan Moyak about "The Truth Shall Set Us Free" John 8:32.

The 3rd lecturer was Brod Rudy Falate then lastly by Brod Jolly Julom concerning "In the house of God There is Abundance". 1 Timothy 3:15
