6TH Day of
the Month of October Year of our Lord 2020
Dear Brother Joe
Wessell, A Deacon and the Elders Mike Latimer, Terry Melton, Greg Benson, Kurt
Benson, Curtis A. Carter and the members at Village Creek Church of
Christ, 390 Greene 721 Rd, Paragould, AR 72450
"I wish above all
things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health even
as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 2)
Grace Mercy and Peace
be with you
From God our Father and
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Thank you so much for
the prayers and financial support to me, dad and the other Filipino preachers
here in the Philippines. I thank God for your precious love, thanking Him in
every prayers day and night.
The consecutive
Sunday’s lockdown here in General Santos City have opened a way to start a
local church here in Tieza Street, Barangay Dadiangas North, General Santos
City.
It has been a month now
that we worship here in Tieza Street and Pili Street church of Christ by the
loving providence of God. We have rented another room for worship thus every
month the rent is 3, 000.00 pesos or $60.00, the room I and my wife have rented
and room we also use for worship.
Lord's willing when I
have already my new motorcycle, it would be easy for me to go to Libas
church of Christ to preach Lord's Day morning then preach in the afternoon or
evening in Tieza Street and Pili Street church of Christ.
I
respectfully report the gospel work here, dear Elders of the Village Creek
church of Christ.
September 6, 2020, By
God's loving providence I preached two lessons in the rented room where we are
living with my wife. I first preached "The Patience of God" then
"Evidence God Exists", sermon outline of Brother Ron Halbrook. There
is still Sunday lockdown here and other strict implementation in regard to
COVID-19 Pandemic Crisis.
September 28, 2020 we
had Lord’s Day Worship here in the rented boarding house in General Santos
City; the lesson was COVID-19 Terminology In Bible Perspective. I emphasized
that If to be in Hell is just a quarantine for little period of time then it is
okay but knowing that it is eternal, forever then it should be our fullest
desire to be in Heaven for eternal.
As there is Personal
Protective Equipment in fighting against the COVID-19, Christian has also full
armour of God to equip him in fighting against the various virus of sins per
Eph. 6:10-17.
In this world a Christian
may be infected of the COVID-19 but what is important he is not infected of the
various virus of sins.
On October 4,
2020 our lesson was "Why All Lives Matters", sermon outline
of Brother Ron Halbrook. We are all created in the Image of God, and then
Christ died for all regardless of the color of the skins. Every one, Jew or
Gentile, Black or White has opportunity to be in Christ.
Brother Luciano Sangoan
joined with us in worship, bringing English Hymnals from our home in Purok
Balunto, Labangal, General Santos City. These Hymnals were from the boxes that
sent to me here by Brother Ron Halbrook.
Sermons are recorded
live via Facebook which give also encouragement to every one.
Thank you so much and
may God continue to bless all the saints in Village Creek church of Christ.
In Christian Love,
