GOSPEL WORK REPORT - NOVEMBER 2019

Dear Brother Joe Wessell, A Deacon and the Elders Mike Latimer, Terry Melton, Greg Benson, Kurt Benson, Curtis A. Carter and the members at Village Creek Church of Christ, 390 Greene 721 Rd, Paragould, AR 72450

"I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2)

Grace, Mercy, and Peace be with you
From God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Brethren, the same gratitude of Apostle Paul to the Philippian saints is also the gratitude of dad and I to you, even most assuredly also the other Filipino preachers whom you are financially supporting, thus we can say “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”  Philippians 1:3–5
Considering the letter of Brother Elder Mike Latimer dated 3 December 2019 which says:
Bro. Tumandan
Can you please send your report in a simple email format. Would be much easier to read.
Thanks
Village Creek”

Consequently, I am now respectfully writing this as complying the said letter.

Brethren, the lesson in Libas church of Christ last November 10, 2019 was "Trust God Till The Danger Passes" from Psalm 57, a cry of David for deliverance.

In this time of Calamities such as Earthquakes in Mindanao then flood in Cagayan, let us pray like the prayer of David "Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in Thee: yea in the shadow of thy wings will I make refuge, until these calamities be overpast".

Thank you Brother Ron Halbrook for this excellent sermon outline. Thank you also to Brother Luciano Sangoan for being a co-preacher in Libas now.

November 18, 2019 we had a wonderful Lord’s Day in Libas church of Christ. I preached “Because Jesus Came, We Go” a sermon outline of Bro. Ron Halbrook. The gospel must always be preached to every creature in such way they might be saved through the obedience of the One Faith.

Brother Luciano Sangoan as he just came from the 5 Days Lectureship of Bro. Harry Osborne in Cebu, Philippines about the 2 Corinthians. He then had a Bible Study from the 2 Corinthians chapter 1, he shared what he learned from the lectureship.

November 18, 2019 also I had sent a Proposal for Improvement of Libas Church of Christ Building”.

November 20, 2019 - By God's providence I and Brother Luciano Sangoan had able to conduct Home Bible Study at the house of Mr. and Mrs. Jonari Malatin. Thanks be to God that Sister Lydia Quilan, Sister Nenita Joaquin (mother of Lydia) were also able to attend the Bible Study. A certain collector of Rusi Motorcycle was also coincidentally there thus he participated until the Bible Study was finished.

Brother Luciano did the opening prayer, led the songs such as "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" reminds us the necessity of praying to Jesus, having a firm faith in Him always.

I then preached a lesson "The Great Commission" in Matt. 28:18-20, explaining that all authority is in Jesus, thus all nations must be preached by the gospel, all things must be taught as Jesus commanded.

Considering the facts that Salvation belongs to the Lord, then it implies that the way, system of worship must comes from God and not men.

I thank God that I have now a fellow worker in Libas church of Christ in the person of Luciano Sangoan.

After the Bible Study, we went to visit Bro. Gorio Pelon, preacher at Baloksawa church of Christ.

Thank you so much and God bless.

In Christian Love,
