Radyo Alerto Preaching Before |
Dear Brethren in Christ,
Greetings in Christ!
The gospel of Christ must be preached
throughout the world in such a way that those who believe and obey it will be
saved. I thankful to God that He use me in proclaiming and defending the same
gospel of Christ preached by the Apostles of our Lord.
This proposal was already sent few years
ago and now I am sending it again in hoping that may this be consider in your
prayers.
I am planning to preach over the radio,
1 hour per Saturday. The 30 minutes for delivering a message while the other 30
minutes be for Questions and Answers in regard to the topic being preach. I am
going to read the questions from listeners and also to accept live on air
questions to be answered also on air to promote the integrity and the
simplicity of the pure gospel of Christ.
Different churches are always preaching
over the radio like:
1. Iglesia
ni Kriso 1914 – Believing Felix Manalo as “God`s Last Messenger In These
Last Days”
2. Roman
Catholic Church – Believing “The Pope As Vicar of Christ On Earth”.
3. Seventh
Day Adventist – Believing “Those Who Worship On Sunday Have Mark of the Beast”.
4. Baptist
Church – Believing on “Once Saved, Always Saved”.
5. Christian
and Missionary Churches of the Philippines – Believing in Premillialism
These churches greatly have bad impact
to the souls of men and women for promoting false teaching, perverting the
gospel of Christ Jesus.
A Baptist preacher won’t definitely
preach accurately on “God’s Plan of Salvation”, and definitely an SDA preacher
won’t accurately preach concerning “Christ as the End of the Law”, and also a
minister of Iglesia ni Kristo 1914 won’t preach concerning the “Deity of Jesus”
as to them “Jesus is just a man” and also the CAMACOP along with so –called
Jehovah Witnesses won’t preach that Jesus is now King for to them, “Jesus is
Coming King”. To them, Jesus will establish a kingdom before the so-called 1000
years.
Thus, my dear brethren and sisters, I
am greatly disturb even in my sleep, I am awaken for these people are keep
deceiving my very own fellow Indigenous People.
In One Radio Station here named “Radio
Mo Nationwide”, last 2013 the proposed rate was “5,000 pesos/program which is
30 minutes”. In one radio station here, named “Radyo Alerto”, the price is
almost the same.
I am praying to God that there be a
door open for me to promote the pure Gospel of Christ over the radio regularly.
I am hoping that there be congregations of our Lord or individuals who have
attentive ear, a loving heart and good hand to help me in preaching over the
radio through a financial help to rent per hour in one radio station
here.
Kindly let me know please if there is
interested to help me in this matter for the sake of the gospel of Christ.
There is power in the word. The gospel is God's power to save
and is quick and powerful (Rom. 1:16; Heb. 4:12). Thousands of Filipinos have
been saved by having heard the Word. Many thousands more would obey but they
wait because they have not yet heard. There are perhaps 600 Filipino preachers
but most earn their living by various occupations and are very limited in the
amount of time they can give to preaching. It is true that there are some who
are supported by American brethren, but these are a minority. These preachers
simply cannot get to all those who would obey by just a "seek and
find" operation. They need something to help arouse in the Filipinos a
desire to seek out the preacher, just as Cornelius. What can we do to help our
brethren in this field "white unto harvest"?
One of the most effective tools in
reaching such is radio. The radio is the Filipino's ears to the outside world.
The woman working in the rice paddy or the man plowing with the caribou is not
far away from a radio. The woman may be listening to one that is perched on a
knoll in her field; the man may have a transistor in his pocket. The gospel
flourishes in many regions today because the preacher's message has been
extended to many regions through the wonder of radio. (Jim Mcdonald,

XXXIX: No. 24, p.5 December 21,
1995)
Note: This appeal is
for the Non-institutional
churches of Christ. This includes churches which stand opposed to instrumental
music in worship, church support of human institutions, the sponsoring church
arrangement, and church-sponsored recreation.
Thank you so much and God bless.
Sincerely,
Men Mark A. Tumandan
