Full Distribution of $500.00 : Four Local Churches of Christ Were Given of Food Assistance

Full Distribution of $500.00 : Four Local Churches of Christ Were Given of Food Assistance

Dear Brother Ron Halbrook,

"I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2)

Grace, Mercy, and Peace be with you

From God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Hebrew writer had written "For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for His name in serving the saints, as you still do" Hebrews 6:10.

I thank God for His loving providence that made possible the $500 you sent to me as relayed by Brother Jonathan Carino.

Brod Jonathan sent it through Brod Salvador Parbo then Brod Parbo personally relayed to me the funds in Philippine currency 24, 000 pesos.

On December 30, 2020 I, Brod Eduardo Diamana Sr. and Brod Jeremiah Bantilan purchased 5 sacks of rice or equivalent to 250 kilos of rice.

3 sacks were for Dampilan church of Christ, Lumatil, Maasim where Brod Eduardo has been preaching while 2 sacks were for Datal Lira church of Christ where Brod Jeremiah is working as preacher.

On that day we administered the distribution of Food Assistance in Dampilan church of Christ, had studied a lesson "My Brethren Strengthen Me" your sermon outline dear Brod Ron Halbrook. We sung hymns and offered prayer of thankfulness to God.

Then on the following day, December 31, 2020 I with brethren preachers Allan Moyak, Jeremiah Bantilan and faithful Christian couple Manolang and Lotlot Diamalo went to Datal Lira church of Christ, Kablacan, Maasim.

This is the local church in the area that is very far and the preacher here is resident in Quary part of Amsipit which has difficulty as far as the transportation is concerned.

In Datal Lira, I preached a lesson "The Heart of A Christian", based on your sermon outline "The Heart of A Preacher".

Then Brod Allan Moyak followed a lesson "Doctrine of Christ versus Doctrine of Men", emphasizing the need to follow Christ, to be in the Lord's church for Salvation.

By God's grace, two souls, husband and wife confessed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God then immersed in water for the remission of their sins.

After the baptism, we then departed to go back in Kyumad.

Around 3:00 PM three sacks of rice were distributed in Kyumad church of Christ, Amsipit, Maasim.

I had an opportunity to preach "My Brethren Strengthen Me" then followed by a sermon of Brod Allan Moyak.

Brod Renie Moyak and Arnel Moyak were so happy with the members.

It strengthen my faith in Christ to encourage brethren and sisters for as I encourage them, they also encourage me.

January 3, 2020 six sacks of rice equivalent to 150 kilos (25 kilos per sack) were given in Kabatiol church of Christ, Maasim, Sarangani. The local preacher is Brod Allan Moyak.

I preached a lesson "My Brethren Strengthen Me" which greatly strengthen all of us in Christ Jesus.

Brother Ron thank you so much for this noble work that you stweard to me by God's loving grace.

This is the liquidation of the $500.00 or 24, 000 pesos.

1. My Gasoline For Motorcycle 468 pesos

There were also many expenses such as food during distribution and I had used personally my fund, thanks to God. I count it as joy, blessing, priviledge to be steward of extending the help of US saints to the needy saints.

Brother Ron Halbrook thank you so much for the love in helping us here in the Philippines.

Indeed true, "For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for His name in serving the saints, as you still do" Hebrews 6:10.

May God continue to bless everyone.

A Blessed Happy New Year.

-----

Dear brother Mark, Greetings in our Savior’s wonderful name.  I thank God for the saints who sacrificed to provide this one-time benevolence and for the help of brethren Jonathan and Salvador to relay it to you.  Thank you for your good work distributing the benevolence and documenting the distribution.  We pray God will bless the saints to survive the pandemic and other hardships.  May God bless you, your family, and your labors in His kingdom.

In Christian love,

Ron Halbrook
