Two Were Being Baptized.

Dad and I and my younger brother Harley with two cousin Kenneth and Leymar were returned from a celebration of birthday of Brother Rommel's daughter around 4:00 PM yesterday May 28, 2011. It was held there in the beach. What made me so glad was that....there were two folks who were baptized when they asked me to make a Bible Study to them. Glory to God. There was enough water, they truly believed in what we preached about Christ and His Kingdom, so what hinder them to be baptized?

So I did administer in baptism. I baptized them in the extension where the water of the swimming pool of Maharlika Beach Resort here in GenSan flows.

1. Brother Rommel did the prayer first.

2. Then I preached a short sermon about the importance of Baptism and staying faithful unto God.

Truly, salvation is very important. For in 2 Cor. 6:2 "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)"

The two now are joining the saints in worshiping where Brother Rommel is preaching every Sunday.

Preachers Bible Seminar - Jim Mcdonald Lecturer

I, dad, my younger Brother Harley, two cousins Kenneth and Leymar Tumandan went to Royale Hotel with Brother Rommel Dazon and Brother Danny Caliz to meet Brother Jim Mcdonald there around 10:00 O'clock in the evening of May 25, 2011. No one tell us that Brother Jim was there in the hotel except we tried our best to see if he was there, and glad he was. We met him (my first time to see him and shake hands with although we have communications through e-mail).

When morning cames, May 26, was the Bible Lecture by him. He started lecturing around 9:00 O'clock in the morning. Two lessons he lectured, about the "The Wrong of Believing One Eternal Covenant" and "The One Cup (Why we believe that multiple cups is scriptural?" ....

While in the afternoon, he lectured about the "A.D 70 Doctrine".

Grandpa Jim (the way I called him) is a sound and kind missionary preacher, he never leaves a doubt in what he preached. His mind is like a Bible Concordance that when you asked Bible Questions he could easily and immediately answered with care and candor.

1 and 2 Timothy: Advice To Young Preachers - Ron Daly -

1 and 2 Timothy: Advice To Young Preachers

In the mid to late 60's A.D. Paul wrote two letters to a young evangelist
whose name was Timothy. They contain some profound wisdom from Paul
to Timothy, that would serve him well along life's way after Paul had taken
his exodus from the land of the earthly living.

I have known several men through the years who have been dear friends
and advisers to me. I was sometimes told things that were like bitterweed at
the time, but they were meant for my well-being. By the grace of God, I have
lived long enough that I am now able to pass along some things that I have
learned to young preachers.

Be a worker. (2 Tim. 2:15) Never be ashamed of the gospel. It is the
message of salvation. (Rom. 1:16) Be prepared to rise during the early hours
of the morning, or to study into the late hours of the night in order to fill the
mind with the word of the living God. "Study long and study deep." Take
nothing for granted and be thorough in your research. Examine every possible
avenue of understanding in your analysis of a word, phrase, sentence, verse,
etc. When you "lock down" the meaning, put it in your head. Remember, an
evangelist is a worker. (2 Tim. 4:5)

Read scripture. (1 Tim. 4:13) Be devoted to public and private reading.
Read, read, and read again. Reading will keep your mind fresh and you will
always have a reservoir of information for those you serve. If you are not
widely read, you will grow stale and you will experience burnout. But, more
importantly, have an intimate familiarity with the book on which you stake
your life!

Forget about lining up with "brotherhood" positions. Make it your
goal to be fiercely loyal to the truth. "Buy the truth and do not sell it; get
wisdom, instruction, and understanding." (Prov. 23:23) The only person in
whom you should have one hundred percent confidence is God, and the
only "position" you should hold is the one that aligns with truth! Avoid
sectarian philosophy by refusing to "line up" with men and movements.
(1 Cor. 1:11-13) Be an independent thinker. Do not believe anything
just because a friend believes it, and do not reject anything just because
an enemy believes it. Go wherever truth leads! Follow the trail of evidence.
Nothing but the facts; only the facts.

Be wise in selecting commentaries. Do not focus on commentary
"sets" per se. Most sets are highly uneven in quality. Carefully pick the
individual volumes on particular biblical books. Furthermore, give high
priority to exegetical commentaries, that is, those that explain the text
and examine it lexically, contextually, and grammatically. I do not want
a commentary to necessarily agree with me, but I want it to make me
think my way through the text. Do not turn to commentaries as your first
"court of appeal." Delve into the text itself. First try to determine what
you see in a passage. Attempt to draw your own conclusions before
you seek out a commentator's point of view.

If possible learn the biblical languages. Not everyone can or will
become an expert in Hebrew and Greek, but most preachers can either
learn the basics of the biblical languages or at least learn how to use the
fundamental reference works that are available. No, you don't need to
learn Hebrew and Greek to go to heaven. But since our heavenly Father
chose those languages as the means of conveying his will to humanity, it
would seem that one would want to know something about them. It may
also enable a preacher to avoid making some of the common mistakes often
observed, such as etymologizing for word meaning, lexical overloading,
condemning modern translations when they differ with the KJV, misusing
Hebrew and Greek grammars and lexicons, etc.

Never be ashamed to say, "I am wrong" when you are wrong.
Pride is a destroyer of self, friendships, and the soul. (Prov. 16:18)
Sometimes people will point out a fault or sin just to embarrass you or
because they are being eaten from the inside out by jealousy. Be man
enough to admit the fault. Make the necessary correction and move ahead.
If their motives are not pure, even though they might have embarrassed
you, it will be God who gets the last word! He knows peoples' hearts and
your adversaries will have no escape. The Lord's apostles had critics, but
they did not allow that to stop them. (Phil. 1:15; 2 Tim. 4:14-18)

As a general rule, avoid "preachers' " meetings, breakfasts,
luncheons, etc. Very often they evolve into opportunities to consume
more than what's on the plate. If half the people are half as bad as most
preachers say, it seems that instead of talking about it, they would get
up and go help the people overcome their weaknesses and sins. Spend
your time diligently studying God's word and helping the people you
should love. Help them overcome the obstacles they face on the road
to eternity. (Gal. 6:1)

Never entertain resentment for other preachers. We are all
needed in the Lord's service. We all approach things differently and
our knowledge varies. I refuse to be jealous of another man. If I am
envious of him, I am rebelling against God, for it is God who has
blessed my fellow preachers with their ability. Rejoice in the ability
of others and perfect your ability. If you spend time honing your skills,
you will not have time to sit idly and resent others! (Gal. 5:19-26)

Avoid institutional thinking regarding the local congregation.
The local congregation is God's appointed "group" to perform the work
he has assigned her. (1 Tim. 3:15; 5:16) Shun the idea that the well-being
of the congregation is dependent on men and papers, or colleges and
universities. The well being of the local congregation is dependent on the
Lord's blessings and her adherence to his inerrant word! God has given
her an all-sufficient arrangement (Phil. 1:1); guide (Jas. 1:25; 2 Pet. 1:3);
worship (Acts 2:42; 20:7; 1Cor. 11:17-26; Eph. 5:19); and mission
(2 Cor.11:8; Phil. 4:14-17; 1 Thess.1:8) No human arrangement or
society is her equal! Defend God's plan against any and every
unauthorized human scheme. Do not expect to have many true friends
when you stand for the truth. Cherish those who are proven friends,
and remember, God is the friend who is larger than the world!

Develop a hobby. Learn to get away from things sometimes.
The Lord was a fisherman. He loved the wilderness and would often
get on the water . A change of pace is good for one's face, for the race
we are running, and for one's faith as it shows us the variety in Yahweh's
creation. When you resume your routine after having "taken a breather,"
you will be fresher than a rose bouquet that's one minute old, and ready
like a race horse to leave the gate!

Practice habits that are conducive to good health. The preacher's
mind is a terrible thing to waste. "Water is nature's beverage and honey
is nature's sweetener," so consume a lot of both if you are not allergic to
them! Eat large amounts of fruits and vegetables, especially those that
are high in antioxidants. Blueberries, pomegranates, apples, pears, nuts,
bananas, whole grain cereal, etc. Seek out sources that are high in
vitamins C and E along with the mineral zinc. You will not regret it! Do
all you can to preserve and strengthen your mind. It is your "workshop."
Pray constantly. (Col. 4:2; 1 Thess. 5:17) Remember, stress is a killer.
(Prov. 14:30; 15:13; 17:22)

Do not be a braggart. Be humble and unassuming. (1 Cor. 13:4)
You do not need to blow a trumpet about your academic attainments.
People will know your capabilities by your conversation, writings,
preaching, etc. A person is not a scholar merely on the basis of
academics. There are men and women with PhD's who have trouble
understanding Jno. 3:16; Acts 2:38; Eph. 5:19 and many other texts.
Scholarship indicates depth of thought, thoroughness of research,
originality, and unflinching loyalty to the truth.

4 were baptized as a result of Gospel Meeting in Sambag Malapatan Sar. Province

I lectured about the New Testament Church with an insert chart why there are so many churches. In the afternoon, I lectured in "Youth Lectured" about "Teenagers and Sex" and as a results 4 were baptized as an obedience to what Apostle Peter said "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,..." in Acts 2:38 and Jesus Christ Himself said that those who believe and baptized will be saved in Mark 16:16.

I and dad were the one who did the immersion. Brother Allan Kimnon was also present in our Gospel Meeting, he is a good preacher also, he could easily answer in biblical manner the questions of the audiences.

2. My Younger Brother Being Baptized Who Have a Tuberculosis.

3. Dad doing the immersion.

4. Dad, and the three were baptized at that moment and brother Allan. Few minutes later, my younger brother asked what was the reason why he won't be baptized, he already believed and repented, so I immediately baptized him.

Brother Allan and I with dad and mom as well as my younger brother have just arrived from Gospel Meeting that was held in the congregation of our Lord where Brother Carino Atlubolan is preaching in Tuyan Malapatan Sarangani Province. We (except for brother Allan because he arrived 6:00 AM in the morning) left home last night around 7:00 PM. We slept overnight there in the house of brother Carino. The Gospel Meeting we were supposing to held in the congregation of Fedi, is being re-schedule. We will make a schedule again when to held it due of the reason of some minor problems. The three members of the Light Presbyterian Chruch where Fedi is preaching were attending the lecture. I have had able to lecture about the "The New Testament Church with an insert Chart WHY THERE ARE SO MANY CHURCHES". Those who heard my preaching were so glad even brother Carino. Dad also preached a good lesson. Our song leader was brother Allan Kimnon. I am so happy to tell you that there were 8 souls being baptized in compliance of what our Lord Jesus Christ said in Mark 16:15-16 "15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Brother Allan and Brother Carino together with were doing the immersion. Supposedly they were 11 souls if only the three not changed their mind again. They are from Presbyterian church. They invited me to make a Gospel Meeting in their congregation where Fedi was/is preaching.

Brother Allan Kimono led in singing hymns.

16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

".. .And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:47"

Last Sunday, February 27, 2011, three folks were baptized.

Field Report - One Denominational Preacher Being Restored.

Dear Brethren and Sisters in Christ,

"I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2)

Grace, Mercy, and Peace be with you
From God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Brother Allan and I with my dad and mom have just arrived from Tuyan, Malapatan Sarangani Province where Brother Carino Atlubolan congregation is located. Last week, we also came visited brother Carino to make a Gospel Meeting and now we have already finalized the schedule and place where we will hold it. Due of the reason that one preacher named Fedi Tawada being restore through our conversation by the word of God, we decided to held a Gospel Meeting in the current congregation where he is preaching, so that we will try our best to convert the whole congregation if possible through the word of God this coming Saturday, March 19, 2011. This preacher was once baptized by dad last 2006 and now he is being restored.

I am so thankful to God that in spite of deep difficulties in financial, we still able to come. Please, pray that may this Gospel Meeting be successful. I am asking your prayer for this matter. Fedi said that the number of attendance where he is preaching is more than 60, therefore we are expecting that number of attendance plus there will be other denomination preachers who will attend and listen in this Gospel Meeting. We will make it whole day; I will lecture 3 to 5 lessons.

I, Dad and Brother Allan were trying to cross in muddy road.

Fedi, I, dad, Brother Carino and Brother Allan.

Attending the Preacher Seminar here in East Asia Royale Hotel this afternoon Feb. 4, 2011

I have just arrived from attending the Preacher Seminar here in East Asia Royale Hotel this afternoon Feb. 4, 2011, being lectured by a US brother Ron Halbrook. The preaching was whole day, morning and afternoon but I just attended the afternoon because I just knew that there's a Seminar lately in the afternoon. I met my partner in preaching in Maasim brother Allan Kimnon there.

This is my first time to meet brother Ron, my first time to shake hands with him, greeting him "nice to meet you". Although I have just attended the afternoon session but I am blessed by his preaching regarding "THE HOLY SPIRIT" and WHY WE DO NOT USE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC.

I am thankful for the US brethren who are sacrificing their time, effort, money just to preach here in the Philippines for edifying us the Filipino saints. Your work for the Lord here will not be in vain in the Lord. The preaching about the Holy Spirit is a good lesson, some preachers can't understand this lesson especially those members of United Pentecostal Church.

Brother Ron Halbrook and I

Ron, clarifying that the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not the Father.

I am the one who is wearing the White Polo which our Uniform in MSU, Brother Bernard is in the right beside of brother Ron.

After Brother Ron lectured, he distributed Books, I have three books in my hand from him, so thank you.

Dad was also here, attending also in the afternoon session and also lots gospel preachers were attending. Glad to meet the fellow co-workers in the field of Christ, the Cebuanos Preachers and the Tribal Preachers especially the US brother. For it is written in Galatians 3:27-28 "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." We are now one in Christ.

God bless us all. Thanking for the love of the US saints toward the Filipino saints. I would like to thank all the US Missionary preaching here in the Philippines such as Brother Jim Mcdonald. So thankful for the US congregations for supporting the work here in the Philippines, thank you for supporting my fellow preachers.
